In Android-smartphone found a new vulnerability

The smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note II found vulnerability, according to Engadget. It allows potential attackers to see the home screen password-protected system.

To bypass the security smartphone - unlock pattern, PIN, password or face recognition - you need to turn on the screen Galaxy Note, press the soft key "emergency call", and then press the button with the image of a man and a glowing light bulb in the bottom left corner.

When the application is 'Emergency Contacts', press the center key. For a split second to open the home screen, and then the smartphone will come back to the screen lock.

Developer Terence Eden, discovered the vulnerability, has admitted that it does not belong to the category of ultra-hazardous, but pointed out that the 'hole' allows a hacker to find out what applications are installed on the machine.

In addition, if a user on the home screen widget set speed dial a specific number, the hacker can call it - in case if you have time to click on the icon.

Recall similar but more serious vulnerabilities have been found in the iPhone. The first 'hole' makes it possible, without knowing the password, to work with the phone application, and the second - to access the files stored on the device.
