Philips has combined smartphones with your home phone

At Berlin's IFA, Philips introduced a home wireless phones S9 and S10 standard DECT. Their feature is support Mobilelink, through which phones are able to work with the city line and cellular networks. To use the mobile network operators, smartphone-connected Bluetooth-technology to the home phone, whereupon the latter is able to make calls to mobile phones and choose a line for outgoing calls: landline or mobile.


In this way, Philips tried to solve the problem of unstable signal reception of cellular networks in different parts of the room. Close to home phone should be a good reception - is all that is required for signal propagation distance of 50 meters. If the mobile phone is being charged, the call can be accepted on a home phone and move it around the apartment. If you want to make a cheap call on the city line, to this end, do not have to look for the desired phone number in the address book of a mobile phone and type it in the home: a model synchronizes contacts with smartphones. It also features an option that allows you to browse the address book of the mobile phone only to the owner.

If S9 - a simple phone, the S10 - a smartphone with a touch screen diagonal of 3.5 inches with 16 million colors. The device is equipped with a proprietary operating system based on Unix. With just a few built-in programs can be customized display photos of users or to place certain numbers in the black list. Both phones allow you to connect Bluetooth-headset. Available devices appear in November. S9 cost in Europe is 140 euros, and S10 - 160 euros. In Russia, the model will cost to customers in the seven thousand and nine thousand, respectively.


Also new from the company is a wireless DECT-phone ArtPhone M5501, sales will begin in October this year at a price of 60-80 euros in Europe.
